Officer Responsibilities

 

President

This is where to list President Responsibilities.  Call Board and Member meetings to order. And other things ... to be update at a later date.

1st Vice President(s)

1st Vice Presidents set in as Acting President in the event the President is unable to perform duties.  They also Prepare and manage the programs and workshops for the current year.  To be updated later.

2nd Vice Presidents

2nd Vice Presidents prepare and manage the workshops for the membership year following the current year.  They will become 1st vice president in the next membership year.

Secretary

The Secretary takes notes for all Board and Membership Business Meetings  To be updated later.

Treasurer

The treasurer prepares the budget for presentation to the Board and to the Membership at large.  All money flow passes through the

Committees

Communications

This committee produces the Member Booklet/Directory, edits the Guild newsletter The Chatelaine, monitors the Group Facebook Page and authors and manages the Guild website.  All communications to the full membership originate from Communications.

Historian

This committee collects all Guild related information, publications and news for archival at the Hinsdale Historical Society.

Hospitality

Manages all Hospitality issues for Guild Meetings and other events requiring logistical planning.

Membership

This committee manages the membership list, receives membership dues and maintains all membership contact information.
