Program and Business Meeting
Frank Connect from Textile Restoration will present a program examining ways to preserve and repair damaged textiles. Frank and Textile Restoration is dedicated to the conservation, restoration, and cleaning of historic, ethnographic, and heirloom textiles.
Workshop
"What I did last summer “ Super Show and Tell, the Expanded Version
This is an opportunity to show each other all the creative and beautiful items created over our summer break, enjoy a welcoming activity with other members, and a light lunch provided by the guild.

Field Trip
We will be traveling to Madison, WI for the Art of the Needle Show, hosted by the the Wisconsin Area Embroiderers' Guild. More details to follow.

Program: Diane Herrmann, "Weaving Hope: Kem lye'bal"
Diane will tell us of her adaptation of a wall design hanging in a fair-trade shop in Guatemala, including the design process and the challenges of working with a variety of materials.

January 19, 2026
Program and Business Meeting: Discover how different sheep breeds contribute to the diverse fibers used in spinning, knitting weaving, or felting with fiber artist Heather Shulick. Delve into wool's rich history, sheep breeding, and specialized fleeces.

Workshop: Heather will teach making a 2.5 inch round pin mixed media pin with needle felting and bead embroidery.

February 16, 2026
Program: Our very own Susan Snow will describe her journey through the rich and varied areas of fiber as she shares her experiences with all sorts of projects and materials.

Workshop: Mixed media techniques, including paint, that add to and embellish fabric to create a wonderful picture.

March 16, 2026
Program: Dawn Walczak will present how she creates scenes and landscapes while hooking rugs as well as the process she uses to choose colors.
​
Workshop: Dawn will help us create a 5" by 7" nature scene/landscape hooked rug. We will focus on color choice and rug hooking techniques.

April 20, 2026
Program: Author and quilter Teresa Duryea Wong will present her research on Native American Quilts and the skills and designs they used to make quilts that reflect their own cultural heritage. This presentation will be at the church via Zoom.
​
Workshop: Patti Cavaliere and Marilyn Montgomery will lead us as we reflect our heritage while creating embroidered greeting cards.

May 18, 2026
Program and Business Meeting: Patrizia Ferreira is a fiber artist who is committed to using upcycled materials in her embroidered faces. She scavenges fabric remnants, heirloom fabrics, discarded materials and objects and reassembles them in an ongoing cycle of deconstructiona and construction.
​
Workshop: Kennette Bledsoe will lead us through the steps to create our personalized and embellished project bag on mesh canvas.
