Program: Dawn started traditional rug hooking in 2004. Since then, she has attended at least one and sometimes three rug hooking events each year to hone her craft. She taught rug hooking in her home for many years and now teaches it at Eisenhower Public Library in Harwood Heights, Illinois where she works as an outreach librarian.
Workshop: Using nature and landscapes as our inspiration, we will create a small rug with special attention drawn to color choices.
Supply List:
Kit includes a nature scene drawn on linen, one hook, and enough wool and yarn to hook the entire piece.
Bring: small scissors for fussy cutting, any lighting or accessories you desire
