Program: Our very own talented Susan Snow will share her experience and knowledge gained with us as she relates her fiber and thread journey. She has explored so many different media, combined them in creative ways, and produced beautiful work. She will generously take us along on her journey.
Workshop: Susan will share how acrylic paint underpainting or overpainting imagery created or augmented with ModPodge can produce great results. We will learn how fabric from our stash can be embellished and transformed.
Supply List:
Kit includes- ModPodge, Gessoboard supports: 8 x 10”, paint brushes, water cups, chopsticks, paint tray, non-latex protective gloves, shared tubes of acrylic paints, colored papers, and fabric.
Bring scissors (small size for fussy cutting) and tweezers (which will get gluey). Participants are encouraged to bring fabric of their own; scraps, or a piece with which to cover the entire support and wrap the edges.
